REFUND and Credit Policy

  • Refunds for lessons and/or transportation must be requested in writing by 3:00 PM on November 27 of the current season.

  • A $25 processing fee applies per refund.

  • No refunds will be issued after the deadline due to financial commitments (insurance, staffing, etc.).

  • In the event of a force majeure (natural occurrences outside of our control i.e. no-snow), no refunds or credits will be issued.

Lateness Policy

To maintain the quality and flow of instruction, punctuality is essential. Please review the following guidelines regarding late arrivals:

  • 15 Minutes Late or More:
    If a student arrives 15 or more minutes after the scheduled lesson start time, Mohan reserves the right to deny entry to the class for that day.

  • Late by Less Than 15 Minutes:
    If a student arrives less than 15 minutes late, we will make a reasonable effort to locate their group and escort them to their lesson. However, this is not guaranteed.

  • Consecutive Absences:
    Missing two or more consecutive weeks of class will result in the forfeiture of the remaining lessons for the season, with no refund issued.

Please understand that our teaching area spans multiple lifts and slopes. Locating a student’s class after it has started is time-consuming and disrupts the experience for students who arrived on time. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us run safe, efficient, and high-quality lessons for all participants.

Postponement & Make-Up Policy

  • Program days may be postponed due to weather or road conditions at Mohan’s sole discretion.

  • Daily status updates are posted on the Mohan website, main phone line (Extension 1), and via text alerts (opt-in during registration).

  • Postponed sessions will be automatically rescheduled and tacked on to the end of the scheduled program until all missed days are made up to the best of our ability based on snow conditions and the availability of operating ski lifts.

Student Code of Conduct

To ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable experience for all participants and staff, all adult students are expected to follow the guidelines below while participating in ski and snowboard programs with Mohan.

1. Respect for Instructors, Staff, and Peers

  • Treat all instructors, staff, and fellow students with courtesy and respect.

  • Follow instructions and safety guidelines provided by instructors and program personnel.

  • Harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior toward others will not be tolerated.

2. Responsibility on the Mountain

  • Ski or snowboard within your ability level and stay with your assigned group during lessons.

  • Helmets are required at all times during on-mountain activities.

  • Observe all resort rules and signage, including lift line etiquette and trail closures.

  • Reckless or dangerous behavior, including skiing or riding under the influence of alcohol or drugs, is strictly prohibited.

3. Equipment & Facilities

  • Respect resort property, shared spaces, and all Mohan program facilities.

  • Dispose of trash properly and help us to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.

4. Technology Use

  • Phones and personal devices may be used during free time but should not disrupt lessons or group activities.

  • Mohan is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings or electronics.

5. Accountability

Mohan reserves the right to take appropriate action in response to misconduct, which may include:

  • Verbal or written warnings

  • Removal from lessons for the day

  • Dismissal from the program without refund

  • Referral to resort security or local authorities in cases of serious violations

  • Licensed Bus Vendors: For ski bus transportation. We may share participant information (e.g., names, bus program selection, emergency contacts) with these vendors strictly for operational and safety purposes.

  • Approved Volunteers: Vetted parents, teachers, and community members help facilitate both the ski bus program and the group lesson program. These volunteers may receive limited participant data (e.g., rosters, emergency contact info) necessary for supporting program delivery. All volunteers must apply and are vetted and approved by Mohan Skiing & Boarding before gaining access to any data. Volunteers are required to maintain confidentiality and follow strict safety and privacy guidelines.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. All third parties and volunteers are expected to use information solely for the purpose of delivering or supporting our programs. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
