GORDY BALL
Technical Director and Board President
Gordy has over forty years of experience teaching and leading ski enthusiasts of all ages. He continues to serve the Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) as an examiner and has served on the Board of Directors and as a divisional clinic leader. "Developing a community of skillful, joyful, student-centered instructors that lead students into successful mountain experiences" continues to be his lifelong goal.
DAN ALBERTINI
Director of Staff Development
While searching for the right ski school for his three eager children, Dan discovered that Mohan truly stood out. Dan joined Mohan in 2002 as an instructor and his family quickly embraced the school's welcoming atmosphere—so much so that one of his children also became an instructor.
In 2005, Dan's commitment and passion were recognized when the leadership team invited him to join the Board of Directors.
As Director of Staff Development, Dan enjoys leading clinics and working one-on-one with instructors to help them grow and excel. He collaborates closely with Gordy to plan each season, recruit new instructors, and support the returning staff in every way he can.
TIM BERGLUND
Supervisor and Board of Directors
Tim has been teaching with Mohan Ski School since 1989. Tim began as an assistant while in junior high school, before being promoted to instructor. While on staff for Mohan, Tim has served as a full-time instructor for 5 yrs, resident desk supervisor, ski and snowboard clinician, and currently serves on the Mohan Board of Directors. Tim has lived by the motto taught by John Mohan himself, "We are teaching people how to have fun, not how to ski. People learn to ski, because they are having fun."
Dan Vornbrock
Supervisor and Board of Directors
Dan Vornbrock has been a dedicated ski instructor with Mohan Skiing & Boarding since 1992. In the 1990s, Dan worked full-time alongside John Mohan and has continued to share his passion for skiing as a weekend instructor and clinician every season since.
He treasures his time on the mountain with the close-knit Mohan family of instructors. Over the past 20 years, he’s introduced his wife and two sons to the program — all of whom have grown from students into instructors themselves.
Dan is honored to contribute to Mohan Skiing & Boarding’s legacy — past, present, and future.
Eddie Petrullo
Supervisor
Eddie Petrullo has been a part of Mohan since he was 16 years old and considers it his family and home. He finds joy in helping people of all ages succeed in snowboarding and lives by the motto: "Sometimes you shred that gnar; sometimes the gnar shreds you.”

An avid skier and snow enthusiast, Emily loves being up on the mountain with the team at Mohan. On top of over 25+ years of ski experience (she’s been skiing as long as she could walk), she is a PSIA Level I Instructor with over 2+ years in the skiing industry.
Elena Hensiek
Board of Directors
Elena first learned to ski at Mohan in 2009. After several years of lessons, she began assisting and eventually teaching with Mohan, spending nearly every winter weekend of her high school years on the slopes—both instructing and learning from fellow instructors. After earning her degree in education, Elena returned to Washington—and to Mohan. She’s passionate about giving back to the community that sparked both her love for skiing and her journey in education.
Heather Dunton
Office Manager
Heather first strapped on a pair of skis in Garmisch, Germany, at the age of six. She joined Mohan in 2025 and is grateful to be part of a fantastic team who is passionate about introducing others to skiing and snowboarding and welcoming others into the Mohan family.
