2009-2010 Volunteer Application for: Program Coordinators, Bus Chaperones, Emergency Drivers, & GreetersPrograms start January 8, 9, 10, 12, and 13. We do not operate February 13-19. To apply or re-apply you must help ALL weekly trips your program operates. Returning staff have priority, but we typically add new volunteers each season. If not returning, please let us know ASAP so we can fill your position (425.868.3820). All applicants must provide us a Washington State Patrol Criminal History form EVERY 2 years. Please fill out Section C of this form and turn it in with the Volunteer Application VOLUNTEER POSTIONS
- Program Coordinator - Responsibilities include: Promoting ski/board club, handing out registration forms, conducting one information meeting for students/parents, being available to answer questions about ski/board club as they arise, selecting and scheduling your school's/program's chaperones (generally the PC is also the head chaperone) and emergency driver's teams.
- Bus Chaperone
- Emergency Driver - You MUST check in at the Mohan Hut as soon as you arrive (prior to the start of any daily lessons). You may NOT depart until after the last bus leaves. You must: 1-Hold a valid driver's license, 2-Provide a minimum of $100,000/$300,000 liability insurance for yourselves and the vehicle, 3-Have two adults in the car, one male and one female, 3-Have a full length sleeping area in the vehicle with easy access, 4-Maintain the vehicle in mechanical condition with snow or studded tires, and 5-Carry chains, road flares, a first aid kit, several blankets, a plastic sack, deicer, and a window scraper.
- Greeter - Must be in the meeting area 20 minutes before classes start/end.
