All Renton School Programs operate on a 6 week program on Saturdays and Sundays starting
January 9. FREE "Second Lesson" for our beginning
students having difficulty during the first lesson. Those wishing the
free second lesson, in order to ride the beginner chairlift as soon and
as safely as possible, should go to our "Second" sign (near our meeting
area) directly after the first lesson has ended. The Renton Parks Program operates on a 6 week program on Saturdays ONLY starting January 9. Assuming there are no postponements, the dates for Saturdays are January 9, 16, 23, 30 and February 6 & 20 and the dates for Sundays are January 10, 17, 24, 31 and February 7 & 21. If weather does force a postponement, we automatically extend until all weeks are completed. We do not operate Presidents' Holiday week (2/13 - 2/19). Weekly Beginner to Expert lessons are 2 hours long. Our experienced, friendly staff will help you improve. Classes have friends of similar age and ability. Beginner classes are at 10:30am, all others are at 2:00pm. As skills increase students may be moved within the first two weeks to another class to optimize their learning and progress. Most classes have an instructor AND assistant, so students learn faster. If you are at least 13 years old and are interested in assisting, please visit our Employment page. Equipment is NOT included. You need equipment each week on the mountain. To avoid wasting lots of time with daily rentals, try "Take Home Season Rentals" at your local ski/snowboard shop. Lift Tickets are NOT included. Participants receive a Discount Season Pass Form. A season pass saves money with 6 or 7 uses. Buy it from "The Summit at Snoqualmie" by December 15 to receive your pass in the mail before the season starts. We recommend the LTD or Night Season Pass. Although our lessons are only held at Summit Central, the LTD Season Pass has unlimited access to Summit Central, West, & East.
