- The Board Room opens early with coffee and treats available at 6:40pm
- Assigments are tackled in a non-embarrassing, adult environment
- At 6:55pm One of our Chairpersons will discuss impending situations and possible solutions
- Meetings typically end at 9:00pm, some board members choose to work into the night

Some of Our Board Chairpersons
John Mohan - Chairman of the Board - For 13 years John headed the instructor certification for the Professional Ski Instructors of America-NW (PSIA-NW). He worked as an instructor certification examiner in alpine, freestyle, and Nordic and wrote books, notably Teaching People Skiing and Freestyle Skiing, the Fundamentals.
Rob Stimmel- Ski School Director - Started skiing in 1967 with this ski school. Assistant Instructor 1970-72. Instructor 1973-1985. Clinic Instructor 1986-1995. Assitant Director 1996-1999. Director 2000-Present. PSIA Level III Certified. Over 10 years as PSIA-NW DCL and Freestyle Examiner. Helped develop the Ski Magazine SKIwee program for children and has written several manuals and created a video on teaching children.
Pat Smith - Ski School Training Supervisor - Started skiing in '68 and instructing in '82. At Mission Ridge '83-'92. Joined Mohan in '89. PSIA certified Level III in '92. Clinic Instructor for both Mission Ridge and Mohan. Primary professional bootfitter for Olympic Sports and Fiorini Sports '88-'06. Opened "The BootSmith" custom skiboot fitting service in '06, servicing skiers' and cyclists' needs. Instructor, clinician, ski-racer, cyclist and professional bike mechanic.
John Martinson - Ski School Supervisor - Started skiing in 1945. Joined the National Ski Patrol in 1964 where he served in many leadership positions including Training Chairman and Assistant Patrol Director. Co-founder and second director of SPART (Ski Patrol Rescue Team) out of area rescue. Member of the Northwest Region Training and Testing Committee. John joined Mohan in 1992, is a PSIA Level 1 and Senior Certification instructor. He was the Ski School outstanding instructor 2 out of the last 4 years, is most frequently requested, and teaches Instructor Clinics. John is the Co-founder of Snoqualmie Pass Senior Snow Sliders and is also the area representative for Dynastar Skis and Lange boots.
Bob Conley - Ski School Clinic Leader - Bob brings over 50 years of skiing experiences to the Board. 4 years of Ski Patrol at Mt. Spokane and 2 years at Crystal Mt. helped him appreciate how important a safe secure skiing environment is to theSkiing public. Bob is a certified PSIA instructor and Clinic trainer (helps train new instructors) and has been happily teaching with Mohan ski school for 19 years. He received the 2011 Mohan outstanding service award as MVP.
Kurt Owen - Thursday Night Ski Board Instructor - Noted for extreme skiing in some of the wildest spots in the world.
Mark Satterthwaite - Thursday Night Ski Board Instructor - Joined this ski school in 1971. Has worked as a clinic instructor and supervisor since 1980. Noted for his great sense of humor and his excellent movement analysis skills.
Don Swanson - Ski School Clinic Instructor - Started teaching for Mohan in 1979. I started teaching in 1964 at Mt. Baker Ski School with Franz Gabel as Director I received my assoc. ( Level II) in 1966 and My level III ( full certification ) in 1969. I taught for Shoreline Ski School and Husky WinterSports Ski School from 1969 to 1974. After I graduated from Dental School in 1974 I spent three years overseas in the Philippians in the US NAVY and two years back at Sand Point Naval Station in Seattle.
Paul Stimmel - Ski School Clinic Instructor - Paul is a level II (PSIA-NW). He has been an instructor with Mohan since 1980. He has worked in several adult and children's programs and frequently teach clinics for Mohan new hires and returning instructors.
Takashi Tsukamaki - Born and raised in Tokyo, retired Boeing Engineer of 37 years. Takashi has been teaching since the 70s. He's Alpine Certified Level 3, Children Specialist Level 1, a Technical Director and a PSIA Board of Director. He has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from UW, a MS Mechanical Engineering from University of California and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering at UW.

Lift Tickets are NOT included. Students receive a Discount Season Pass Form via email after registering. See our Lift Ticket page for different Season Pass Options.
Equipment is NOT included. To avoid spending time with daily rentals, we suggest "Take Home Season Rentals." See our Equipment page for more information.
- Prior to December 1, 2012 - Lessons and bussing are refundable with a $50 processing fee.
- After December 1, 2012 - Lessons and bussing are NON-REFUNDABLE. They are transferable to another student for a $50 service fee.
- If the program is not completed by April 9, 2013, prorated refund checks will be issued. An administrative fee of $50 is charged by Youth Sports Services if you are issued a refund. Please note that postponing one or two times a season and automatically extending the program is typical due to weather or road conditions.
